Transport operations generate an enormous volume of low-value telemetry and a small number of decisions that actually matter: is that bus off-route, is the driver overdue for rest, and will the vehicle make it through the shift.
What we focus on
Signal over data. Raw GPS pings are cheap. The useful output is a short list of exceptions a depot manager can work through before the next dispatch.
Connectivity realism. Vehicles move through dead zones. The system treats a gap as a gap, not as a stopped vehicle, and reconciles the trace on reconnect.
Maintenance as prevention. Odometer and engine-hour triggers schedule servicing before breakdown, which is where the actual cost sits.
Passenger-facing accuracy. An arrival estimate that is wrong is worse than none. We publish confidence-bounded estimates and suppress them when the data does not support a number.
