Our approach
Simple solutions for complex problems
Most of our clients do not come to us with a technology problem. They come with a process that has outgrown its tools — an examination calendar that cannot slip, a recruitment cycle that will be challenged in court, a service that has to reach a village where a bank branch will never be viable.
The technology is the easy part. The difficult part is understanding the rules an organisation is actually bound by, which are usually written in an ordinance, a circular or a regulation rather than in a requirements document. We spend real time on that before we write anything.
It is also why we have kept most of our clients. Retention over two decades is not the result of clever sales. It is the result of systems that still work in year eight, and of being straight with people about what a project will and will not achieve.
How we work
We tell you when you do not need us
If a rules engine, a better form or a database index solves your problem for a tenth of the cost, that is what we will recommend. It has cost us work. We still do it.
You own what we build
Source code, schema, deployment runbook. If you want to take a system in-house or move to another vendor, nothing in our arrangement stops you.
Domain first, technology second
We learn the ordinance, the roster rule, the settlement cycle. Software that ignores the rules an organisation is bound by does not get adopted, however well it is written.
We plan for the bad day
The closing hour of a recruitment cycle. The ward office with no connectivity. The agent whose terminal drops mid-transaction. Those are the design cases, not the edge cases.
How we got here
- 2001
Founded in Kolkata
Started with custom software for regional enterprises, at a time when most of our clients were computerising a process for the first time.
- 2008
Into the public sector
First large government engagements in recruitment and urban services — work that shaped our emphasis on audit trails and defensible decisions.
- 2015
Across the border
Extended into Bangladesh with agent banking and enterprise work, building for genuinely constrained connectivity.
- 2020
Data, AI and IoT practice
Formalised our analytics and applied AI practice as clients moved from recording data to actually deciding with it.

A public company in the making
Clients across two countries, most of them long-standing, now preparing for the public markets.
